Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mayodan, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a stadium; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Mayodan is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms for engineering, design, and construction administration services for the development of Washington Mills Park, a 13.35-acre community park along the Mayo River. The selected firm will be responsible for designing the entire park and providing construction administration services for Phase 1 improvements. Project components include: multi-use trails, event plaza and amphitheater, river access points, pickleball and basketball courts, constructed wetlands, stormwater infrastructure, playgrounds, parking, and other amenities. The project is guided by a community-driven master plan adopted in 2024. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities. Shortlisted firms will be notified by Thursday, July 24, 2025. Interviews will be held on Wednesday, July 30th,2025 beginning at 9:00am.
