In accordance with Nebraska Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. 81-1702), the Brooks Act (40 USC 1101), and 23 CFR 172.5, the State of Nebraska, Department of Transportation (NDOT), is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Loup Canal Bridges. Qualified consultants are invited to submit a statement of qualifications as outlined below. NDOT's website referred to in this document is located at online. Final Design and Environmental Clearance for Four Bridges on the Loup Canal in Platte County Platte County seeks qualified consultants to complete the final design, environmental clearance, and preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) documents for four bridge projects located along the Loup Canal. Most of the preliminary engineering work for these bridges has been completed. The bridges included in this RFQ are: C007124005: Orientated east-west on 3rd Avenue at 53rd Street and at the 3rd Avenue intersection north of the Loup Power Plant. C007105105: Orientated north-south on 18th Avenue at the outlet of Lake Babcock. C007104710: Orientated north-south on 48th Avenue at the inlet of Lake Babcock. C007143625: Orientated east-west on 265th Street just west of 235th Avenue. The selected consultant will provide final design, environmental clearance, and all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
