The Procurement Office for the Town of Barnstable on behalf of the Conservation Division is soliciting responses for the period of 7/1/25 through 6/30/28 for Hydrilla Management in the Town of Barnstable at various bodies of water as specified. Not to exceed value of $100,000.00 per year with potential 3 year Not to Exceed value of $300,000.00. The services for the treatment as follows: Hydrilla Control at Mystic Lake and Middle Pond in Marstons Mills and Long Pond in Centerville. Sonar(TM) treatment is contingent upon following the orders of conditions required under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection act and Chapter 237 Town of Barnstable Code and any other required licenses, permits, and approvals required under State, Federal and Local agencies. Contracted services are subject to the appropriation of funds for each year of the contract. If funds are not appropriated for this purpose, the contract shall be cancelled at no cost to the Town. Question Deadline 06/20/2025 at 12:00 PM ET This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, and all contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposal. The Town has no discretion under the law to consider proposals that fail to comply with those requirements, except for minor informalities as permitted by MGL Chapter 30B Section 5(f). If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals when it deems it to be in the best interest of the Town.
