The anticipated bid items are as listed below. Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) prequalification is required as indicated. Pre- vailing wage rates are required as per M.G.L., Chapter 149, and Section 26 to 27H inclusive and reporting associated thereto. Estimated project value in Contract Year One is $180,000, with an option to renew for two additional years with estimated project values of $180,000 and $180,000 respectively. Bid Item Type MassDOT Prequalification Required Bituminous Concrete Service Pavement Surfacing Type I In Place Bituminous Concrete Service Pavement-Surfacing - Type I Handwork In Place Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, a certified check, a trea- surer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company or cash payment, in the amount of five (5) percent of the submitted bid, as Bid Security. The checks are to be made payable to the Town of Wenham, Massachusetts. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Payment and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date designated above for the opening. Bids for this Contract are subject to the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 30, Section 39M and M.G.L., Chapter 30B as applicable. The Town of Wenham reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to accept any Bid deemed by them to be in the best interest of the Town of Wenham, and to limit the extent of the work to keep within the limits of available funds.
