Bethany Beach Training Site Storm Water Management Bidders are required to show identification at the Guard Booth when entering the site and must sign in at the Security Officers desk once inside. Please allow sufficient time to comply with these requirements. No exceptions. The Project includes stormwater improvements identified in three project areas on the Bethany Beach Training Site. Project Area #1 includes inlet and pipe construction, Project Area #2 includes pipe cleaning, and Project Area #3 includes new curb and curb openings. Attention is called to the construction schedule as detailed in the Contract Documents. Sealed bids shall be mailed and addressed to the Delaware Army National Guard, 1 Vavala Way, New Castle, Delaware 19720; ATTN: Brittney M. Poore, Business Manager. The outer envelope should clearly indicate: "DEARNG Contract 2024-03; ARNG 24003-BBTSTMWTR- Bethany Beach Training Site Storm Water Management - SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN." Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (VBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two calendar days' notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders receiving plans.
