Interviews are expected to be held the week of July 28, 2025. 1.Review all available information, surveys, and develop a comprehensive project scope that addresses site preparation and necessary drinking water improvements. 2. Assess the proposed project site and provide a recommended preliminary design. 3. Refine the design to comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and coordinate with INDOT to ensure the design meets recommended standards. 4. Collaborate with the Town of Westport and the Southeastern Indiana Regional Planning Commission to prepare all necessary tasks and documentation for submission to the Office of Community and Rural Affairs for the Community Development Block Grant Wastewater/ Drinking Water Program. 5.Develop preliminary cost estimates for the project. 6.Support the project owner in preparing and delivering public hearing presentations as required. 7.If the Office of Community and Rural Affairs grant is awarded, provide services to finalize the construction design, prepare bid documents, oversee the bidding process, and manage construction oversight and inspection The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time To assure compliance with the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) and related requirements regarding the competitive negotiation of professional engineering services, the Town of Westport is seeking Statements of Qualifications for the provision of the design services described in the scope of work below relating to the Water Improvement Project located within the incorporated limits of Westport, IN.
