Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will consist of a roadway overlay on White Oak Lane and West Walnut Street from Branch Street to the connecting alley. Work is to include asphalt milling, tack coat, and overlay with 1 1/2 " of 9.5mm WMA bituminous wearing course. Includes scratch leveling course on W. Walnut Street and select base repair on White Oak Lane. Items for sweeping, installing utility risers and joint sealing around curbs, manholes, inlets, and valve boxes will be incidental to the project. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Sellersville. Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. All current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Standards and Specifications will prevail over all standards and specifications included in this contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body project. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid to workmen employed on this project.
