Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in West Islip, New York. Working plans call for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
Town of Islip Community Development Agency is seeking qualified General Contractors to bid on the Interior and Exterior Lead Abatement of a Town of Islip Community Development Agency owned residential property located within the Town of Islip, NY and the demolition and carting away of a wood shed located on the same property. Contractors must be licensed by Suffolk County, hold Worker's Compensation Insurance, as well as Disability Insurance, General Liability Insurance, Contractual Liability Insurance and Automobile Liability Insurance. The amounts of insurance and requirement for naming the Agency as additional insured are detailed in the bid package. Contractors must provide five (5) references of recent work. Minority and female-owned businesses are encouraged to bid. Bid Bonds and Performance Bonds will be required on any bids which exceed $100,000. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
