The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, or the proposals will be rejected within 45 days of the date of opening proposals. Bids shall be subject, however, to the discretionary right reserved by the School District to waive any informalities, accept or reject any alternatives, reject any proposals and to advertise for new proposals, if in its opinion the best interest of the School District will thereby be promoted. Each bidder may not withdraw his bid within 45 days after the formal opening thereof. A bidder may withdraw his bid only in writing and prior to the bid opening date. All plumbing work. No oral interpretations, instructions, or explanations of the Bid Documents will be given prior to the opening of the bids. Discrepancies, ambiguities, or doubts as to the intent of a Bid Document should be communicated to the Architect in writing for interpretation. B. Interpretations of, clarifications of, amendments to or corrections to the Bid Documents will be made in writing in the form of addenda forwarded to each person to whom or each entity to which Bid Documents have been issued and will become part of the Bid Documents. Each Bidder must acknowledge receipt on the Bid Proposal Forms. Replies issued in any other manner will not be binding. The Architect will not be responsible for oral clarifications.
