The contractor shall provide labor, equipment and materials for On-call Painting Services at Transit Centers, facility buildings and bus shelters, as needed, on Pierce Transit facilities as listed in the summary of work. The work will be assigned by Work Order; each Work Order will address the scope of work, estimated cost and time of completion, and shall be performed in accordance with the Work Order. The Contract will be issued for an amount not to exceed $100,000.00. including applicable taxes. PIERCE TRANSIT is a municipal corporation with administrative offices located at 3701 96th Street SW; Lakewood, Washington 98499-4431. Bid proposals are being solicited from bidders to furnish labor, equipment and materials to provide on-call painting services. The Contract shall expire 12 months following the Notice to Proceed, or when the sum of the $100,000.00 including applicable taxes has been expended, whichever occurs first. The Contract term may be extended for one additional year upon mutual acceptance. The unit prices as bid shall remain for the duration of the Contract term. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total maximum contract amount of $100,000.00. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
