As of August 12, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. This project will not be presented to our Board until the 8/28/25 meeting. The scope of work includes the installation of over 800 linear feet of concrete curbing, setting pavers for a trail, grading and site restoration, and other miscellaneous work for a complete project as shown in the Drawings and Specifications. Project Location: 500 Jackson Ave, Naperville, IL 60563 (DuPage County The Contractorshall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to complete the construction indicated in these Drawings and Specifications. Questions will be received in writing only through 12:00PM on Friday June 27, 2025. A bid bond is not required for this project. If a bid is accepted, a Surety Bond (aka Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond), payable to the Naperville Park District, for not less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount will be required prior to beginning construction. A Surety Bond, payable to the Naperville Park District, for not less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount is required by Statute prior to beginning construction on all projects where the Contract Sum is $150,000 or more, and may be required for projects $150,000 or less at the discretion of the Naperville Park District. Such bonds shall include the provision guaranteeing the faithful performance of the Prevailing Wage Act. The surety on the bond shall be a company that is licensed by the Department of Insurance authorizing it to execute surety bonds and the company shall have a financial strength rating of at least A- as rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc., Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poor's Corporation, or a similar rating agency. The Park District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible Bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Park District.
