This project consists of completing asphalt improvements at several Metro Park sites. These improvements include, but not limited to, wearing course removal, repair of existing asphalt roadways and parking lots, pavement planing and milling, asphalt overlay, pavement markings, and parking blocks. Only those registered as a plan holder through Metro Parks may submit a bid. The Metro Parks will not be responsible for any plans and specifications obtained from any other source. The Substantial Completion Date for the project is November 1, 2025. The project is subject to Prevailing Wage requirements of Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4115. Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the same and shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of (i) a bid guaranty and contract bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District as obligee for the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, or (ii) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. Metro Parks reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, the right to waive irregularities in any proposal and the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof.
