Helen Nichols Park Walking Trail The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Contractors must be properly licensed at time of bid as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Compliance with the City of Winston-Salem's M/WBE program is required in accordance with the Special Instructions to Bidders contained in the specifications. The M/WBE subcontracting goals for this project are 12% MBE, 7% WBE and must be met separately. The low bidder who fails to meet said goals must submit Affidavit 'D' and their full Good Faith Effort documentation within 24 hours. Likewise, an Affidavit 'C' is required of the apparent low bidder who meets the M/WBE goals. The purpose of this conference is to explain the City of Winston-Salem's Minority and Women Business Enterprise Program requirements and summarize the project scope of work. Designer and City staff will be available to answer technical questions concerning the work and regarding the City's M/WBE program requirements Interested bidders are required to reach out directly to the Owner to obtain a set of the bidding documents.
