The Deaver D52 Lateral Piping Project consists of: 16,450 feet of 27 - 15 PIP or a combination of 28 16 HDPE and PIP pipe installed by open trench 128 feet of 28 fused HDPE pipe through an existing culvert Valves, miscellaneous fittings, and turnout services with meters Grading of existing canals All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the order of the Owner as liquidated damages in the event said successful bidder shall fail or refuse to execute the contract in accordance with the terms of his/her bid. After a contract is awarded, the successful bidder will be required to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing Question Deadline 07/08/2025 QA - 7/07/2025: Free of clay cannot be removed from the Onsite Embedment Type A4 specification. Suitable material will be determined based on its classification in the Unified Soil Classification System ASTM D2487. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to show suitability of potential native backfill sources as they vary throughout the project. Custom Bid Result.
