Kentucky State University Aquaculture is requesting bids for (4) fiberglass raceway tanks. The tanks shall have the following dimensions and specifications: 196"L x 36"W x 32"D (Inside DIMS) -977 Gallon Rectangular Raceway -3" Perimeter Flange (202"L x 42"W Outside DIMS) -20-25 mil Interior Gel Coat -10 mil Exterior Gel Coat The individual tanks need to have the following features. (1) 4" SCH40 PVC Drain Adapter (placed on one end of the tank bottom with ability to slip fit 4” standpipe) (2) 1/2"x1/2" Sidewall Screen Slotted Channels (8) 1.5" x6"H SS Adjustable Legs (16) PVC Divider Screens (37"W x 32"H) 8 would need to be 1/8" and 8 need to be 1/4" Perforations The drain needs to be on one end of the tank with a screen slot just before it to isolate it from the rest of the tank. The second slot and screen needs to be in the center of the tank to allow the tank to be separated into two holding areas. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS – June 19, 2025 Kentucky State University intends to award a contract to the vendor, whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the most advantageous on the basis of "best value" for all products, services, and requirements contained herein.
