The project is expected to be awarded on October 21, 2025. - Demolition of existing structure - Construction of a new concrete box culvert approx. 0.55 miles from the north intersection of Reeder School Road - Coordinates: - Longitude: -86.430571 - Latitude: 36.739102 - No pre-engineering or survey conducted; contractors must verify bid items and quantities via field review. - All work must follow Kentucky Department of Transportation Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. - Foundations keyed into solid rock if feasible, or constructed per KYTC specs. - Removal of existing structure per KYTC specs. - New structure: - 8 ft wide × 8 ft high cast-in-place concrete box culvert - Wing walls on inlet and outlet - 24 ft wide finished concrete road surface with curbs and approaches - Backfill with clean compacted aggregate - Concrete strength: 3500 psi - Contractor must submit detailed drawings for approval before construction. - Responsible for signage and traffic control.
