Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 18,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; and 30,000-square-foot library.
Barrhaven Library and Civic Center project. Scope to include: a 30,000 sq ft district level library branch; a 15,000 sq ft cultural centre with stage and seating; and a 3,000 sq ft seniors space. TIMELINE: A Request for Qualifications for design services has been issued by the Owner. Further update may be confirmed upon award, anticipated fall 2025, pending approvals. Project is being funded, in part, through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP). Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
