This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by Centre d'excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (CEA FRANCOachat) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Portable Relocations and installations at various sites (See scope of work for details regarding work at various sites), as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The Intent of this RFQ is to obtain quotations from respondents to complete Portable Relocations and installations at various sites for a Stipulated Price contract in the form of CCDC 2-2020 with Supplementary Conditions, in accordance with all RFQ Documents and Terms and Conditions outlined herein (the "Contract"). CEA FRANCOachat recognizes that this solicitation is being released during uncertain times with respect to trade between Canada and the United States. Without limiting any of the other requirements of this RFQ, bidders are expected to submit pricing in the bidding system (Bonfire) that is inclusive of all custom duties or import tariffs, as may be applicable and actually in effect as at the time of bid submission, relevant to any part of the work or provisions of Deliverables under the Contract, including from any subcontractors or suppliers. Respondents are directed to Supplementary Condition (GC 10.1 - Taxes and Duties) to the CCDC 2-2020 General Conditions which sets out the process for adjustments to Contract payments where a change to custom duties or import tariffs occurs after the closing of bids.
