Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Denton, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The County Commissioners of Caroline County are accepting bids (written quotes) for the roof replacement at Fretterd Center (offices of Caroline County Recreation & Parks) located at 107 S. Fourth Street, Denton, MD 21629. The scope of this contract includes, but is not limited to: o Remove all existing asphalt shingles completely from the entire building, down to the structural deck, approximately 55 squares. (Contractor responsible for providing dumpsters and tip fees) o Inspect the deck and submit an inspection report. o Install ice & weather shield around the eaves, rakes, and hip & ridges o Install synthetic felt on the field of the roof o Install aluminum drip edge o Install starter shingles on eaves and rakes o Install shingles o 30-year GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter gray) o Install cap shingles at the hips & ridges o Install pipe flashing Question Deadline 06/27/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Mark Lasocha, Park & Capital Projects at 410-479-8137 or by email at mlasocha@carolinemd.org .
