The Winchester Housing Authority (the "Authority") extends an invitation to architectural and/or engineering (A/E) firms or teams of firms ("teams" and together with singular firms "firms" for purposes of this solicitation) to submit a statement of their qualifications to the Authority. Each firm's qualifications should indicate the ability to perform work required in a timely manner. Submitting firms must be licensed to perform services in the State of Connecticut. Question Deadline 07/07/2025 The Authority encourages responses from firms performing both architectural and engineering services. The Authority also encourages teaming arrangements where multiple firms with a single lead firm may submit qualifications as a single entity. Engineering services the Authority intends to utilize during the contract term include, but are not limited to civil, structural and MEP engineering. Architectural services the Authority intends to utilize during the contract term include, but are not limited to preliminary studies, schematic design, redevelopment activities/studies, preparation and design of construction documents, work write-ups, cost estimates, evaluation of construction bids, inspection of materials and workmanship during construction, contract administration and post completion requirements. Award/Contract Effective: August, 2025 (tentative) Each contract awarded will have an initial three (3) year term with the potential of two (2) one (1) year extensions for a potential total term of five (5) years.
