Renovation of a mixed-use development in Winchester Center, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Regional School District No. 7 is looking for a vendor to perform work for the Roof-Replacement Project (standing seam metal) at the Agricultural Education Building. Technical questions should be directed to Joseph S. Alicata, Architect llc 860-653-6422, JSA@alicatanet.com This contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements, consistent with the law. Prevailing Wage Rates and Bond requirements included in the Bid Documents, shall apply to the project. All bidders shall hold a current "DAS Contractor Prequalification Certificate" (not a predetermination letter) from the Department of Administrative Services of the State of Connecticut in accordance with Connecticut General Statue Sections 4a 100, 4b-101 and 4b-91. Prevailing Wage Rates and Bond requirements included in the Bid Documents, shall apply to the project. The required DAS prequalification classification for this project is Roofing. Bidders shall submit with their bids, unless noted otherwise, a "DAS Contractor Prequalification Certificate" along with a current "Update (bid) Statement" Any bid submitted without a copy of the DAS Prequalification Certificate and an Update (Bid) Statement shall be invalid.
