Site work for a civil project in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The major work items include approximately 400 linear feet of 16-inch diameter water main lining, 195 linear feet of 8- inch diameter water main lining, hydrant and hydrant lead replacements, water main replacements, valves, fittings, and associated street reconstruction work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Question Deadline 07/03/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing Documents may be downloaded by first selecting BIDDING from the menu tab, then selecting this project from the CBS SQUARED. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. The City of New Berlin reserves the right to reject all bids, without cause, and accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City of New Berlin. Bidder is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within 72 hours of the bid opening to CBS Squared, Inc.
