Ogden City is accepting sealed bids from Contractors interested in providing Airfield Apron and Runway Construction work. All work must meet current industry standards and all applicable federal, state and local rules and regulations. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bids that best serve its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City. The contractor will be responsible for fog-sealing, asphalt, and concrete replacement on the south portion of the airfield, covering approximately 95,000 square yards of rehabilitation of existing pavements including the south General Aviation (GA) Apron, Taxilane G, the Deice Pad, and portions of Runway 3-21. See Exhibit A for project-specific requirements. The contractor will be responsible for: - Reviewing construction or specification documents prior to submitting a bid. - Attending the mandatory pre-bid meeting (as applicable) to obtain relevant information. - Competitively bidding required work, negotiating and contracting with subcontractors to accomplish the work, as applicable. - Meeting federal requirements (as applicable) for federally funded projects/contracts. - Completing the Project on time and within budget per the plans and specifications. - Reference Construction Safety & Phasing Plan in the project manual for allowable work hours For any questions related to this ITB, please contact the Ogden City Purchasing Office via email purchasing@ogdencity.gov or at (801) 629-8742.
