The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, parts, materials, tools, supplies, computer programming, and incidentals necessary to perform the Work as outlined herein. The City of Orlando (referred to as City) requests bids from interested and qualified firms, to provide computerized fountain maintenance, repairs, and related work, in accordance with the terms and conditions, and Scope of Work outlined in this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The City of Orlando is a 111.2 square mile area that covers a total of 71,140 acres. With its central location in the region and the State, Orlando is easily accessible from Interstate 4, Florida Turnpike, East/West Expressway and the Beach Line Expressway. The responsibility for the determination of accurate measurements, the extent of work to be performed, and the conditions surrounding the performance thereof shall be the Respondent's. Submission of a submittal shall constitute acknowledgment by the Respondent that it is familiar with all such conditions. The failure or neglect of a Respondent to familiarize itself with the site of the proposed work, shall in no way relieve it from any obligations with respect to its submittal. The Mission of the City of Orlando is to enhance the quality of life in the City by delivering public services in a knowledgeable, responsive and financially responsible manner. The purpose of a Pre-Solicitation Conference is to review and discuss the solicitation (and any addenda) as published. A representative from the Procurement and Contracts Division and a technical representative from the using department will be present to discuss the solicitation.
