The City of Crescent City has been awarded funding through the Clean California Grant Program to improve the entrance to the Cultural Center and construct the Welcome Station for the Tolowa Cultural Trail. All project features are part of a larger construction project, currently underway, which will include a Beachfront Park gateway and improvements to Front Street (from Play to Hwy 101). The City is looking for a firm who can take the existing concept drawings, develop them into engineered construction documents, then fabricate and install the described Lithomosaic art features located at the Tolowa Cultural Trail and Cultural Center entrance ("the Project"). Through the Tolowa Cultural Trail, the City hopes to bring residents and visitors from every walk of life together to create a vibrant sense of community and connection to the space through art and culture.
