This Project generally includes the following: The base bid includes the construction of additional parking along Bob Cene Way, a kayak drop-off ramp, concrete steps, an improved pedestrian path and kayak launch, a shelter/pavilion, gathering plaza, new sidewalk, site lighting, a play structure, site preparation for a packaged restroom, landscaping, and furniture installation. The bid documents include various Alternate Bid Items to be awarded at the City s discretion. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Each bidder must be a registered plan holder with ms consultants, inc. to be eligible to submit a bid for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on blanks furnished in the Project Manual. Entire Project Manual (or Bid Submittal Document, if included) must be submitted as one original and one copy. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty made payable to the City of Stuthers in the form of either: (1) A bond for the full amount of the bid, or (2) A certified check, cashier s check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305, Ohio Revised Code, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount pursuant to Chapter 153 of the ORC. The Engineer s Estimate of Probable Construction Cost for this project is provided in the bid documents.
