Sealed bids are sought for the Slide Gate Replacement Project in the City of Struthers, Ohio. The project involves the removal of an existing slide gate (SL-5) at the wastewater treatment plant located at 530 Lowellville Road, Struthers, Ohio, and furnishing and installing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to install a new stainless steel slide gate at the same location. Each proposal must include the full name of the submitting party and all interested parties, evidence of experience on projects of similar size and scope, and a bid guarantee and contract bond as per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid bond may be a bid guarantee, letter of credit for 100% of the project, a certified check from a solvent bank, or cash in the amount of 10% of the total bid. Bid security in bond form must be from a surety company licensed in Ohio. Bid guarantees will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Final completion is required by November 20th, 2026.
