The Board of County Commissioners of Gilchrist County, Florida is requesting proposals for the Roof Repairs of the AT&T Building. The description of the project is as follows: o Demolition- See Scope of Work o Roof Replacement - See Scope of Work o Safe Guards- Provide safety barriers for the public and employees during operational hours. The structure shall be protected during repairs from the weather and other hazards. o Contractor Qualifications- The contractor shall provide the building department with copies of their license public liability and worker's compensation insurance prior to permitting. Workers compensation exemption is not acceptable. o Permits- Roof permit is required and is exempt from permit fees. o Materials- Materials for the project must be submitted to the building department for approval. Florida Product Approvals shall be submitted for review. pecial Conditions o During construction it is advised that the building be vacant due to fumes from roof application. o Adhesion test is to be performed prior to any work being completed to ensure new roof system is properly installed.
