Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of July 24, 2025, project is awarded to Superior Bowen Asphalt Company, LLC in the amount of $7,727,012.75. This project includes resurfacing of Shawnee Mission Parkway, evaluation of the guardrails along the corridor for potential replacement, ADA improvements along Shawnee Mission Parkway at Monticello Road and Woodland Drive, the addition of a South-bound turn lane at Woodland Drive, the addition of a signal at Vista Drive, and storm sewer improvements along the corridor. All Work shall be complete and ready for final payment on or before March 31, 2026. o Substantial Completion #1: All milling, patching, asphalt surfacing and pavement marking Work on Shawnee Mission Parkway shall be substantially completed on or before November 14, 2025. This shall include the pavement reconstruction and pavement widening at the Shawnee Mission Parkway / Vista Drive intersection. o Substantial Completion #2 Date: All sidewalk and storm sewer Work and widening of Woodland Drive shall be substantially completed on or before January 1, 2026. Each Bidder shall provide with their Bid a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Contract will be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the complete and sole discretion of such Governing Body.
