In general, the project involves demolition of the existing car wash building and the mill and overlay of two existing asphalt parking lots at the Eugene Airport. Scope of work in the existing ready/return rental car parking includes 2" asphalt mill and overlay along with possible minor full depth pavement repair. Additionally, new ADA compliant sidewalk and ramps will be constructed to tie into the existing sidewalks and new pavement markings will be added. Scope in the existing car wash parking lot includes a 2" mill and overlay of a majority of the parking lot, some areas of full depth pavement construction, demolition of the existing car wash building, minor utility work, rerouting of an electrical run in existing conduit, new curb and gutter, and pavement markings. Project also includes new regulatory and way finding signage, a new speed bump, drainage structure improvements, additional new high-mast lighting, and a new rental car operational cross-over road to Lockheed Drive
