It also includes demolition of multiple structures: A-638, a 3-story 21,655 SF transient lodging building; A-639A Recreation Pavilion; A-641A, existing guard shacks and associated canopy; A-649A, a 44 SF marquee; A-651, a 744 SF A/C building. It also includes relocating a static display (A-642) of a RA-5C Vigilante aircraft. Bid Option 1 includes construction of a new multi-use Visitor Control Center, associated utilities, parking lot, passive vehicle barriers, and incidental related work. This includes roadway and round-about, as delineated in the plans.
