Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project includes (but is not limited to) the following: mobilization, site preparation, demolition ,excavation, concrete work, paving, electrical work, utility work, land scaping, and restoration. Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or in formalities in bidding procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College. Questions received later than July 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM central time may not be answered. Bid security in the form of bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submit ted with the bid. A Performance, Labor, and Materials Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract amount will be required from the successful bidder prior to work on site Bidders shall comply with the Business Enterprise Program: Participation and Utilization Plan developed by Harper College. There is a 20 percent (20%) aspirational goal on the contract. No bid may be with drawn for a period of ninety(90) days after the submission with out the consent of the Board of Trustees.
