It is the intention of St. John the Baptist Parish to award a contract to the company(s) with the proposal that will provide the best service to the parish. The selected Company(s) will work closely with the Parish Utilities Department and other administrative staff to provide support and maintenance in various locations. Exhibit C – Selection/Scoring Criteria Event Bid notes: Electronic proposals will be accepted only on online St. John the Baptist Parish (herein referred to as “the Parish”) hereby issues a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified companies (herein referred to as “Company”) to provide submersible pump and motor repairs. The Parish has Water Facilities, Wastewater Facilities, Wastewater Collection Facilities and Drainage Facilities that have various pumps and motors that from time to time require repairs. These repairs could be but not limited to stator rewind, bearing replacement, o-ring replacement, wear ring repair or replacement, shaft repair or replacement and replacing the oil in the pumps and motors Question Deadline 07/09/2025 at 10:00 AM CT Questions and comments regarding this Proposal must be submitted in writing to St. John the Baptist Parish, Purchasing & Procurement Department, ATTN: Peter Montz, 1811 West Airline Highway, Laplace, LA 70068 or via e-mail to p.montz@stjohn-la.gov Parish shall have the right to reject or accept any Proposal or offer, or any part thereof (i.e., any component of any proposed solution) for any reason whatsoever and to accept otherthan the lowest offer, at its sole discretion. Insurance Company shall obtain, pay for and keep in force, at its own expense, minimum insurance effective in all localities where Proposer/Proposer may perform the work hereunder, with such carriers as shall be acceptable to Council: The initial contract shall begin on the date of execution and will be effective until March 31, 2026. Upon written mutual agreement between the Parish Council and the Contractor, this contract may be extended two (2) additional times for one (1) year increments. The Parish will not honor or consider any price increase, fuel surcharge, or add-on cost during the established performance or extension period. The Proposers must submit firm fixed pricing Licenses and Taxes The Contractor must be properly licensed and certified by any and all regulatory agencies (Federal, State, and Local) requiring licensing and/or certification with regard to this proposal. The Parish reserves the right to revise any part of the RFP by issuing an addendum to the RFP at any time in accordance with relevant Louisiana Revised Statutes. Issuance of this RFP in no way constitutes a commitment by the Parish to award a contract. The Parish reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or part, all Proposals submitted, and/or cancel this announcement if it is determined to be in the Parish's best interest.
