Renovation of a medical facility in Durant, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The bidder must verify all measurements. Approximately 17,400 sq. ft. of roof and 7,700 sq. ft. of parapet wall. 1. Repair the damaged TPO roofing on the parapet walls and other damaged spots. There is approximately 100 ft. of damaged TPO roofing on theparapet walls. 2. The TPO seams on approximately of the roof have been repaired in the past; the material used to coat the seams has failed. The roof must be thoroughly cleaned of loose debris, and the seams repaired and coated with the 522 coating as per the Weather star application process. 3. The roof coating material will be a Ure-A-Sil (American Weather star) roofing system. If an alternate manufacturer is used, it must be equal to or better in quality. The Bryan County Health Department and the County will need to approve the alternate material and see a sample of the roof material used. The Health Department building must stay open for customers from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. 5. Care must be taken while working over the front doors for the safety of our clients, possibly before or after business hours. 6. The building must be protected from rain damage while the roof is under construction, both exterior and interior. The contractor will repair any damage at his/her expense. 7. The bidder will supply all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, bonds, permits, and cleanup. Materials can be purchased using the County sales tax number. 8. All pipe and vent penetrations will have new seals installed on the roof. 9. Warranty: No dollar limit, 20 years. Material and workmanship. If an annual inspection is required for the warranty, the yearly cost must be listed on the bid with no increase in the year- to-year cost for the warranty inspection. 10. Payment for the project will be processed after the execution of the warranty. 11. Bidder must possess a current Oklahoma (Construction Industries Board) commercial certificate number and be in good standing. We reserve the right to reject any and/or all bids, or any part thereof.
