Remove existing roof system at building 649 and provide a new asphalt roof shingle roof system including some wood plank deck replacement, new self-adhering underlayment, new asphalt roof shingles. Install in accordance with roofing manufacturer's recommendations. Provide a 30-year manufacturer's warranty with a 120-mph wind speed coverage. Building 649 is a historical building. Therefore, the Environmental Division (ED) - Historic Preservation Program shall review and approve all material submittals for accessories, sealants sheet metal, replacement soffit, replacement fascia, paint colors, roof shingles, etc. before contractor can start work. The Contractor shall provide all work, labor, materials, related fees, and related services for construction requested herein until completion and acceptance of the entire work, except for any completed unit of work which may have been accepted under the contract, by the Government in a professional and collaborative environment to sustain mission requirements. Construction services and finished products shall be delivered on schedule, safely, and compliant with regulatory codes and standards. 1.2. Period of Performance.
