The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), is soliciting bids from qualified firm(s) to provide Demolition of Improvements, Structures, or other Encumbrances in the Right Of Way and/or Easement Areas. The bidding firm must be prequalified in the indicated Right of Way Property Management service class(es) identified in Exhibit I in order to be evaluated and considered. All bid submittals will be pre-screened to verify that the bidding firm is prequalified in the required service class(es) and that the subcontractor(s) is prequalified in the required service class(es). GDOT's Right of Way Property Management prequalification listing will be utilized to pre-screen the prequalification status of each bidding firm. Any bid submittal in which the bidding firm or the subcontractor(s) prequalification requirements are not met will be disqualified from further evaluation and consideration Question Deadline 06/26/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Questions and Requests for Clarification Questions about any aspect of this solicitation, or the project, shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to Stacey Allen, email Sallen@dot.ga.gov The winning firm will be notified in writing via email and must provide the required Performance and Payment Bond within five (5) business days of receiving the Notice of Award (NOA). The Performance and Payment Bond shall be provided to the Department in the amount of 100 percent (%) of the total bid price, utilizing the Department's form, GDOT Form-SP404, Performance and Payment Bonds, effectively securing the Contractor's obligations to perform the Services hereunder and to ensure that payments owed to subcontractors approved by the Department are made with respect to performance of portions of the services. The Georgia Department of Transportation has adopted a 15% overall annual goal for DBE participation on all projects. This goal is not to be considered as a fixed quota, set aside or preference. GDOT reserves the right to cancel any solicitations where it is determined to be in the best interest of the Department to do so. GDOT reserves the right to increase, reduce, add, or delete any item in this solicitation as deemed necessary.
