The City of Graham is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to furnish and pay for all materials, Labor, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, insurance, warranty, and any other related incidentals necessary to install 3 450kW diesel generators at the City of Graham Water Treatment Facility located. Contractor shall design, furnish, and install new permanent diesel generators, automatic transfer switches, concrete pads with fencing and metal roofing at the following 3 sites. 400 Power Plant Rd Graham Water Treatment Plant 400 Power Plant Rd High Service Pumps 400 Power Plant Rd Eddleman Lake Lift Pump The Contractor shall offload and provide placement of the generator onto concrete pads. The minimum thickness shall be four (4) inches thick. In addition, there will be a minimum of six (6) inches of concrete around the perimeter of the generator. Furnish the electrical conduit for automatic transfer switch (ATS) and plumbing connections. The Contractor will work with the Public Works Director and recommend the placement location of the ATS. All electrical materials are required to be tested to provide a complete functioning system. The contractor shall ensure that electrical service remains uninterrupted and shall perform all temporary work necessary to maintain continuity of electrical service when connection is made to existing systems. The Contractor will provide diesel fuel and fill 80 percent of the tank capacity into the generator and test equipment after the completion of the installation.
