Asphalt crack sealing, mastic repairs, and concrete sidewalk trip edge grinding at various locations throughout the City of Kenora Question Acceptance Deadline: 2025/07/07 04:00:00 PM CDT Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com . The scope of work includes crack sealing, mastic repairs, and sidewalk grinding within the municipality. Both are to be completed in order of highest priority to lowest priority. Crack Sealing and Mastic Repairs Crack Sealing: Roads highlighted in red are high priority and are to be completed first. The roads highlighted in blue are to be completed second. Mastic Repairs: Various bridges and roads within the City, exact locations to be determined with successful bidder. Mastic repairs are assumed to be 30%-50% of the contract upset limit mentioned above. Sidewalk Grinding There are 6 neighbourhoods to be completed. Highest to lowest priority is as follows: - Minto/Valley Drive - Downtown - Lakeside - Keewatin - Northend - Rideout Each neighbourhood is further divided into three priorities of high level (larger than 20 mm), medium level (between 10 to 20 mm), and low level priority (less than 10 mm). This specification covers the work of routing existing cracks up to 20 mm in width and cleaning and sealing routed and unrouted cracks in hot mix asphalt pavements with hot poured rubberized asphalt sealant compound.
