Hermosa North Water Tank Project Reference Number 0000390967 Bid Intent Not Available Base Bid: This project includes furnishing materials, equipment, labor, and performing all work detailed in the HERMOSA NORTH WATER TANK PROJECT Plan and Specifications, including but not limited to the construction of an approx. 127,000 gallon steel water tank, 238CY concrete foundations, 10ft.x 16 ft. pump house, 8" C-900 PVC water main, 10" SCH-80 PVC pipe, 4" SCH-80 PVC pipe, various water main appurtenances and a gravel access drive. Scope of Services The purpose of this report is to present a summary of our geotechnical exploration only and provide generalized opinions and recommendations regarding the soil conditions and design parameters for this individual project site. DTE's report is not intended to provide information on slope stability, environmental issues, or conditions of surrounding sites. DTE's "scope of services" was limited to the following: Explore the main project site subsurface by means of two (2) standard penetration borings. Site borings were to extend to a maximum depth of fifty (50) feet below ground surface to provide soil samples to conduct laboratory test(s) for characterizing the index and engineering properties of soils strata at site. Prepare a report presenting our findings from our field exploration, laboratory testing, and engineering recommendations for foundation types, footing depths, allowable bearing capacity, estimated settlements, floor slab support, excavation, engineered fill, backfill, compaction and potential construction difficulties related to excavation, backfilling and drainage, utility installation, and pavements exploration program results.
