The Town of Needham invites qualifications from Cost Estimators to support the Town OPM for On-Call Cost Estimating services in Feasibility, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document phases. Projects will be municipal projects for the Building Design and Construction Department (BD&CD) and the Building Maintenance Department in the Town of Needham, MA. Municipal project type may include, but not be limited to existing school buildings, roof replacements, and RTU replacements. Cost estimating scope to include evaluation of bids and related services. The Town of Needham reserves the right to reject any or all qualifications and to accept any proposal that it considers to be in the best interests of the Town. Question Deadline 07/14/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Questions are to be submitted by email to Kathryn Copley at kcopley@NeedhamMa.gov . Responses will be available by Thursday, July 17, 2025 . Permanent Public Building Committee (PPBC) and are tentatively scheduled to take place the week of July 28, 2025. The Award will be granted the week of August 4, 2025. Fax transmissions will not be accepted. The Estimator's fee for the identified services, including all reimbursable expenses, is not to exceed $ 300,000.00 (three-hundred thousand dollars) for cost estimating services. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
