The work of labor for the Proposed Greensboro Water System Critical Needs Infrastructure Improvements Project "Contract "3" Cork Street Well Chemical Feed System Upgrade Project -DWSRF The principal items of work are detailed herein below. 1. 4,500 Gallon Bulk Chemical Storage Tank (For Caustic) 2. One Transfer Pump (Caustic) 3. One 250 Gallon Day (For Caustic) 4. One Metering Pump (Caustic) The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for one hundred (100%) of the bid amount and a Payment Bond for one hundred (100%) percent of the bid amount and must secure his bond from a bonding company's representative or agent in the State of Alabama. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reservesthe right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving Bids. The Contractor/Supplier is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 30 consecutive calendar daystotal and noted restrictionsshall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. . There will be no Pre-Bid meeting The Owner reservesthe right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. The Contractor/Supplier shall note that fundsfor this project are provided through DWSRF (Drinking Water State Revolving Funds). All Applicable Federal Guidelines must be met. There will be no Pre-Bid meeting. Doc Notes: No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor Bidders, which shall be refunded for one bid set. Question Deadline 06/30/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
