The Following Contract: Warrior Run Borough 2025 Community Development Program Chestnut Street Road and Storm Sewer Improvements Project Phase Ii Contract Documents, Bid Security in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid, in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Submit a Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Amount and a Performance Bond for 100% of the Contract Amount Within 15 Days of the Contract Being Awarded. The Successful Bidder Will Also Be Required to Submit a Two-year Maintenance Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Amount. The Borough of Warrior Run Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Informalities in the Bidding. Scope of work: Provide maintenance & protection of traffic in accordance with PA DOT Pubs. 213 & 408. Provide test pits as directed by engineer. Determine exact elevations of excavated facilities and provide the information to the engineer. Install the new storm sewer as per the plans and specifications. Adjust sanitary sewer laterals as required. All trench backfill shall be 2A course aggregate. Provide trench restoration as per the plans and as directed. Mill and place pavement overlay as specified and as directed. Re-paint pavement markings in trench area as per Penn DOT Pub. 408 incidental to the contract. Provide protection of existing utilities including any necessary shoring of utilités and holding of utility poles incidental to the contract. Pave notches, brooming, tacking, sawcutting pavement edges, sealing pavement joints and edges, adjustment of gas and water valves are incidental to the contract.
