Sewer Rehabilitation (S25-1) / DPW - This Section of the specifications covers the scope and sequence of work for the "Various Streets Construction and Reconstruction of Sanitary and Surface Sewers and Water Replacement Project, Contract No. S25-1, BID # 8455-J6" located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Bid Security (5% of Total Bid). All questions must be referred in writing to Jerry Kucera via e-mail at kucerajs@worcesterma.gov MBE (10%), WBE (15%) The scope of work includes construction and reconstruction of approximately 3,145 linear feet of sanitary and surface sewer main; installation of 43 manholes; reconstruction of 12 manholes; installation of 24 plugs to abandon existing sanitary and surface sewer; construction and reconstruction of approximately 2,100 linear feet of water main and services; and associated appurtenances. Question Deadline 07/04/2025 All questions and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents shall be in writing, addressed to the Purchasing Department, City of Worcester, and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids.
