Site work for a water / sewer project in Carbonear, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/07/08 02:00:00 PM NDT Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: o Replacement of water and sanitary sewer mains, connection to existing services. o New Class A, Class B, base and surface course asphalt. o Replace existing water and sanitary sewer mains with new 200 mm PVC watermain and 375 mm sanitary sewer main. Tie-in to existing water and sanitary sewer systems at Joe Taylor Lane and at project limits as shown on project drawings, approximate Station 0+320. o New storm sewer and catch basin pups. o New curb and gutter, sidewalk one side. The location of the existing sanitary sewer is not known for the full length of Lemarchant Road. Contractor is to locate the existing sanitary sewer main at end of the section being upgraded prior to start of work and confirm location with consultant, as noted on drawings. Project limits for this contract are identified on the project drawings. Project must end with reconnection of sanitary sewer to the existing sanitary sewer system.
