Renovation of a parking garage in Edwardsville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

Wash Bay Upgrade The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Equipment 1. Two (2) upright wall frames mounted onto both wash bay cinderblock walls located just inside the wash bay entrance. Each frame shall contain a lower oscillating sprayer set at an upward angle targeting the wheels/wheel wells capable of 1000 psi, and an upper oscillating sprayer set at a horizontal angle targeting the vehicle side capable of 1000 psi. 2. One (1 ) floor mounted (non-recessed) drive over frame spanning between both upright wall frames containing an under-vehicle body cleaner, with oscillating nozzles capable of spraying at least 9'wide at 1000 psi. Ramps to drive over the frame shall be no more than 5" tall with a minimum weight capacity of 40,000lbs. Ramps shall be sufficiently placed on the frame to allow both passenger vehicles and dual-wheeled trucks across the frame. 3. Dual bay complete pump stand with two (2) Cat Pumps brand 310 pumps or equivalent, 3 phase / 480 volt / 4000 psi rated or equivalent and two (2) Baldor brand motors or equivalent, five (5) horsepower or equivalent. 4. 5. Dual Bay Low Pressure Injection Panel. Wall mounted stainless steel low pressure two (2) compartment chemical tank, 24" x 24" x 12". Hung at a height to allow space for a 55 gallon container to rest beneath the compartment. Intake chemical hoses shall be long enough to reach bottom of bay floor to utilize 55 gallon container or have an adapter allowing for attaching additional hose. 6. System shall be capable of injecting various wash additives into each component of the system. At least two (2) chemical dispensing units capable of 4.5 GPM. 7. 8. Two (2) new water valves capable of 6.8 GPM. Two (2) appropriately sized water lines, approximately 100' each, capable of ensuring 4000 PSI with mounts and fittings as needed to connect water source to equipment. 9. 18" stainless steel rubber flex wand, with turbo nozzle and pressure gun with swivel and quick connect. Notes 1. 2. Equivalent equipment must be named in bid. All new metal materials exposed within the bay and exposed to possible water spray shall, as able, be stainless steel, aluminum, other rust-proof material, or shall be protected by rubber, paint, coating, etc. including bolts, screws, fasteners, etc. Metal components not able to be of a rust-proof material shall be allowed only if due to strength requirements (i.e. ramp anchors). 3. All equipment, fittings, anchors, hoses, manifolds, mounting devices, tubing, etc. will be supplied and installed by the contractor for a complete system start-up. Any item, part, device, labor, etc. necessary for turn-key operation shall be included in the bid with the exception of electrical upgrades. Electrical upgrades, if needed, shall be the responsibility of Madison County. 4. Contractor shall provide all equipment adjustments and aiming of nozzles to ensure proper cleaning operation and vehicle area targeting during system startup and as needed during warranty period if due to parts failure and/or creep. 5. Contractor shall provide minimum 12-month parts and labor warranty for system operation. Warranty start date shall be agreed upon by County and contractor. 6. 7. Contractor shall provide in-person training during initial start-up. For future maintenance and warranty needs, the Contractor shall be located within 50 miles of the Madison County Highway Department.
