Renovation of a mixed-use development in Essex Junction, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
For the remedial reinforcement of existing attic truss supports at Thomas Fleming School. The project scope includes remedial reinforcing of existing attic truss supports in a circa 1912 brick school building. See Bid Documents for full scope and specifications. The project is subject to State bidding rules found in 16 VSA Section 559 and Vermont State Board of Education Rules, 6300-6400 and 9000 series. Schedule: preparation and submittal work may commence immediately upon award and receipt of a notice to proceed. It is anticipated that on-site activities including staging and delivery of materials may begin immediately and be completed during summer vacation 2025 with Substantial Complete by August 22th, 2025 Questions regarding the project may be directed to John Alden, AIA at the above address To support increased snow load, certain attic rafter support trusses will need to be reinforced. An Alternate for reinforcing the flat roofed area is included as well The project scope includes remedial reinforcing of existing attic truss supports in a circa 1912 brick school building.
