Site work for a religious / funeral development in Reading, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.
The Town of Reading is accept-ing Sealed Bids for the LAUREL HILL CEMETERY EROSION MITIGATION PROJECT. The work under this contract consists of resetting and in-stalling salvaged curing and/or new curbing in the Laurel Hill Cemetery for the purpose of controlling stormwater and miti-gation erosion. Incidental work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, patching of the road-ways with bituminous asphalt and installing loam and seed. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond satis-factory in form to the Town, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount from a surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and acceptable to the Town. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
