The Procurement Office on behalf of the Department of Public Works is requesting bids for the following project: MARY DUNN ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT. Questions Due Date: Jul 16th 2025, 12:00 PM EDT the Q&A section of the online portal in the correct project file. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of 100%. 5% Bid Bond required. Prevailing Wages required. OSHA certification required. MBE/WBE 10.4% required. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately 7,500 feet of 16" ductile iron water main on Mary Dunn Road, between the Hyannis Water Department tank site and Airport Road, including all valves, hydrants, and connections. Work includes utility work at the tank site including installation of a chlorination vault and associated conduits. The target start date for construction to comments is fall 2025.
