**As of August 13th, 2025, the project was awarded to Straitcrete LLC, with an awarded amount of $68,753.** Council School District is requesting bids from qualified contractors for concrete flat work the elementary and high school. Approximately 3500 square feet of new 4" and 6" walkways are to be installed. Minor regrading and seeding is also included in bid. Work must be completed prior to the beginning of school. For more detailed information contact Mindy Ivey@mivey@csd13.org Excavate area on the north side of the elementary school to allow for new concrete and regrading to eliminate water next to the building. Pour a new concrete slab next to the building approx.. 10 ft. x 80 ft. with a slope of minimum of 14 inch per foot. Remove existing lawn/ dirt from the entire north side of the building to the parking lot and regrade to allow water to flow away from the building. Hydroseed all areas from concrete to parting lot. Remove broken concrete by entry (approx.. 120 sq. ft.); bring area up to grade with road mix and repour area with new 4" slab. All new concrete areas to have a minimum of 4" compacted road mix under concrete. All concrete to be 6 sack mix. Expansion joints and needed Excavate apporx 10" of lawn and dirt to allow for new concrete pad and walkway connecting weight room and elementary school parking lot. All concrete in this area to be 6" thick and 6 sack concrete. A 20 x 50 foot slab will be poured on the South side of the weight room. An 8 ft wide concrete walkway will be installed connecting this slab and the elementary school parking lot. A minimum of 4" of compacted road mix is required for all concrete. Control/ expansion joints as needed. Upon completion topsoil will be placed next to new concrete and areas graded to match existing lawn and areas and reseeded. All disturbed area will be regraded and reseeded to match existing.
