**As of May 01, 2026, the project was awarded to Boswell Asphalt Paving Solutions Inc., with an awarded amount of $378,111.88.** The work includes chip sealing approximately 3.9 miles of Indian Valley Road and 0.75 miles of Michigan Ave. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and must conform to all Local, State, and Federal requirements. It is required that all bids be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign, as well as Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or cash in the amount not less than 5% of the total bid amount, payable to Adams County. The bid security shall be forfeited as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract in accordance with their proposal. Adams County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of Adams County. Any questions or requests for additional information must be submitted in writing. The Owner will investigate the performance record and ability of the apparent low bidder before awarding a contract, and the bidder must submit information as requested to evaluate their qualifications.
